About Me
Short Introduction
My path into tech started like many others: I got my first computer as a kid and immediately wanted to understand how everything worked. That curiosity never really went away. It just evolved from taking things apart (and sometimes successfully putting them back together) into building software.
I went through the whole education route, computer technician diploma, bachelor's, then master's in Informatics at FERI, University of Maribor. Some of my best learning happened outside the classroom though. Tutoring other students forced me to understand concepts well enough to explain them, and working with the Student Organization taught me that organizing people is much harder than organizing code.
I've been building software professionally since 2021, currently at Blocksi, before that at Comtrade Gaming and FlawlessCode. I work on everything from user interfaces to APIs, databases, and the pipelines that ship it all to production.
I keep things simple and functional. When I take on a problem, I first spend time understanding the actual goal, not just what someone thinks they need, and then build something maintainable that won't break in six months. People I work with know they can rely on me: if I take something on, it gets done properly, I care about the details, and I'd rather raise a problem early than wait for it to grow. I work well in teams and don't mind taking the lead when something needs direction. In short: when something lands on my desk, it gets done well, on time, and without drama.
